SONIC SLAM 2022 TOUR - Cinderella’s Tom Keifer, L.A. Guns and Faster Pussycat

Lightstream PRESENTS

Rock fans rejoice! It’s been far too quiet the past couple of years, and it’s finally time for the return of a tour that cranks it to the max! “Sonic Slam” with Tom Keifer #keiferband, L.A. Guns and Faster Pussycat will head out on the road together starting June 1, 2022. The official itinerary is available at TomKeifer.com, with more dates to come.

Tom Keifer says, “#keiferband is amped for the ‘Sonic Slam’ 2022 tour with our friends L.A. Guns and Faster Pussycat! Get ready for a 100% live, raucous, loud & slammin’ rock show. Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2022.”

L.A. Guns’ Tracii Guns agrees, "I’m excited L.A. Guns will be heading out on the road with Tom Keifer. We are really looking forward to touring again.”

Faster Pussycat’s Taime Downe adds, "Faster Pussycat has toured with Tom’s band and L.A. Guns before, but never all of us together. The shows were always amazing, and you can expect the same this summer. There’s going to be three decades of friendship and great music all under one roof, ‘Sonic Slam’ is going to be a blast!”

About the artists:

Tom Keifer’s story begins as the singer-songwriter, guitarist and front man of hard rock heavyweights Cinderella. His signature voice, guitar and bluesy, no-BS arena-shaking songwriting, played an integral role in moving records to the tune of 15 million worldwide. Tom Keifer is enjoying continued success recording and touring with #keiferband, releasing two critically acclaimed solo albums, THE WAY LIFE GOES and RISE. #keiferband -- Tom Keifer, Savannah Keifer, Tony Higbee, Billy Mercer, Kendra Chantelle, Jarred Pope and Kory Myers -- are fired up to get back on tour with their high energy, leave it all on the stage rock show that combines all the classic, chart topping hits of Cinderella with new faves from #keiferband ‘s solo releases. Eddie Trunk tweeted from a 2019 #keiferband show, “Simply ridiculous how great @TomKeiferMusic and his band sound right now @warehouselive … wow… incredible. New stuff killer too! And thanks for keeping it REAL & ALL LIVE #NOTRACKS!!!”

The latest #keiferband studio album, RISE, (Billboard Top 10 Hard Rock Sales), released September 13, 2019 on Cleopatra Records, features the rousing, rollicking rock singles, “The Death of Me” and “HYPE.” Both singles landed in the Billboard Mainstream Rock Top 40. Keifer’s deep-seated roots shine through to the very core on RISE, something that was embedded at the very heart of his music created during the multiplatinum Cinderella days. Available in all formats here https://orcd.co/tomkeiferrise.

L.A. Guns was formed in 1983 and have sold over six million records, including 1988's L.A. GUNS and 1990's COCKED AND LOADED, both of which were certified Gold. COCKED AND LOADED contained the hit single "Ballad of Jayne" that went to #33 on Billboard's Hot 100 and #25 on the Mainstream Rock charts. From the mid-90's to the mid 2000’s, L.A. Guns continued to tour and release new music. Following their successful performance at SiriusXM's HairNation Festival in September 2016, L.A. Guns went into the studio to record the critically acclaimed, THE MISSING PEACE, which was the highest selling release for Frontiers Music in 2017. Their 12th album, THE DEVIL YOU KNOW, was released in 2019 to the same critical acclaim.  November 2021 brought the release of their latest album, CHECKERED PAST. Since reuniting, Tracii and Phil continue to tour around the world with L.A. Guns, which currently includes Shane Fitzgibbon (drums), Johnny Martin (bass) and Ace Von Johnson (guitar).

Faster Pussycat rose from the depths of the mid-‘80s Hollywood rock scene, taking the Sunset Strip by storm with a sound that wasn’t glam and wasn’t punk, but blistered somewhere in between. With an attitude and swagger all its own, their self-titled debut featured the instant classics “Babylon,” “Bathroom Wall,” “Cathouse” and “Don’t Change That Song,” and its follow-up, WAKE ME WHEN IT’S OVER, climbed even higher with the radio hit “House Of Pain,” “Poison Ivy” and “Where There’s A Whip There’s A Way.” Despite their successes, Faster defied the mainstream mold and always followed frontman Taime Downe’s underground sensibilities. The Gold and Platinum records are nice, but Taime considers his greatest accomplishment to be longevity. “The only number that really matters to me is the number 35. Three and half decades later, Faster Pussycat are still rocking, and it feels as fresh as it did in 1986.” Look no further than their 2021 releases “Nola” and the Johnny Thunders cover “Pirate Love” – Faster Pussycat are as virile and tenacious as ever…and Taime, bassist Danny Nordahl, drummer Chad Stewart, and guitarists Sam “Bam” Koltun and Ronnie Simmons wouldn’t have it any other way.

Crystal Gayle

Lightstream Presents

Crystal was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry as a member in January 2017 by her sister Loretta Lynn. The Academy of Country Music recognized Crystal with a 2016 Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award for her lifetime achievements in country music. And in 2009 Crystal was honored to receive her own star on the fabled Hollywood Walk of Fame.

These honors are fitting tributes to Crystal who has been a favorite of audiences of country and popular music since attaining national prominence with her first chart records in the mid-seventies. Renowned for her classic recording of her timeless signature song Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue, Crystal also scored with her multi-format hits You’ve Been Talking In Your Sleep, When I Dream, Half the Way and her duet with Eddie Rabbitt, Just You and I. Crystal has released over twenty number one hits and has been awarded numerous times by the Grammy’s, the Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music, the American Music Awards, and the American Music Operators Association.

Crystal is currently in the studio finishing a new album that will be released later this year. Christos Gatzimos, Crystal’s son, is engineering and co-producing the project with her. The album will contain classic country songs that had special significance to Crystal in her youth.

Crystal’s most recent album, All My Tomorrows, complements her country heritage. All My Tomorrows, released to outstanding critical response, is a collection of classic American standards that Crystal produced with Jay Patten, her longtime music director. The album is an enjoyable masterpiece that bonds her familiar crystalline voice and mature vocal styling with some of the greatest songs of our popular music heritage. “I feel honored to perform these favorite songs that any artist loves to sing, songs with timeless beauty.” The fourteen selections range from “You Belong to Me,” “Smile,” “It Had to Be You,” “Cry Me A River” and “Sentimental Journey” to Ray Charles’ “Hallelujah I Love Him So.”

Crystal also found great personal satisfaction in recording two inspirational albums. Her Grammy nominated “Someday” was comprised of mostly original spiritual songs and “He Is Beautiful” contains mostly traditional hymns. These efforts led to Crystal’s 2009 induction into the Christian Music Hall of Fame.

Crystal has contributed songs to three Grammy winning children’s albums: Sesame Country (in which she dueted with Big Bird), Here comes the Rainbow, and Songs from the Neighborhood - The Music of Mr. Rogers. Crystal’s adds her first solo children’s album, In My Arms, a collection of lullabies that perfectly suits her warm vocals. “I loved all of these songs immediately and the tender and imaginative production makes In My Arms an album that appeals to children of all ages.”

Crystal is a long-time resident of Nashville, Tennessee. When Crystal is not touring she spends much of her personal time with her immediate and extended family. Crystal also makes time for community involvement. She was the first recipient of the Waterford Crystal “Celebration of Light” award in recognition of her many charitable activities.

Over the last 18 years, Casey Donahew has risen from a favorite on the local Texas music scene, racking up 21 #1 singles, to a nationally hot touring act who consistently sells out venues all across the country.

Donahew has released eight independent albums to critical and commercial acclaim. Donahew’s STANDOFFquickly topped the iTunes Country Chart at #1, upon its release, and his follow-up album ALL NIGHT PARTY, out on August 19, 2016, immediately rocketed to #3 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart, #13 on the Top Album Sales Chart and Top Current Album Sales Chart and #40 on the Billboard 200 Chart. The project also took the #2 spot on the Internet Albums Chart and landed at #3 on the Independent Albums Chart. His 15th anniversary record titled 15 YEARS, THE WILD RIDE, a collection of Donahew’s most popular songs, and the ones that droves of fans sing night after night at his live concerts, was inspired by and became a gift for those fans who remain loyal in Donahew’s standing-room-only audiences.  His current album ONE LIGHT TOWN, garnered Donahew his latest #1 single, “Let’s Make A Love Song, which was the #1 most played independent song on country radio for 2019 and had BILLBOARD spouting upon its release “…’Let’s Make A Love Song’ has radio written all over it”.

For Casey it has always been about the song, whether he was singing about colorful, hilarious characters that might live down the street from you or come to Thanksgiving dinner every year, or the painful devastation of something as serious as addiction. Fans flock to his shows to revel in the zany, wacky tales of pot-selling grannies and shotgun-toting girls whose bras don’t fit, along with the more somber stories of heartbreak, failure and redemption that Donahew weaves so well. Drawing from real life and its roller coaster highs and lows has provided him with plenty of rich material over the last decade and a half, and resulted in eight wildly successful albums and 19 chart-topping singles. For Donahew, who was largely inspired by Garth Brooks and his mammoth live show and ability to whip a crowd into a frenzy onstage, the songs were always the main thing – and still are to this day. Maybe that’s why they have continued to be fan favorites for a decade and a half and counting.

Avid devotion from his fans and the interaction they have always shared is what has kept Donahew going all these years and powered his career to the heights it is now. Touring over 150 dates a year, he keeps his finger on the pulse of what his fans want and love, and this latest collection is sure to please his avid, devoted fan base. The Texas sensation has built an impressive lasting legacy and career out of taking chances and listening to his heart and the heart of his fans. And he’s eager and ready to see where it takes them together next.

Shenandoah

Lightstream Presents

Grammy, CMA and ACM-winning hitmakers Shenandoah, fueled by Marty Raybon’s distinctive vocals and the band’s skilled musicianship, are celebrated for delivering such hits as “Two Dozen Roses”, “Church on Cumberland Road” and “Next to You, Next to Me” as well as such achingly beautiful classics as “I Want to be Loved Like That” and the GRAMMY® winning “Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart” duet with Alison Krauss. Today that legacy continues as original members Marty Raybon and Mike McGuire launch a new chapter in Shenandoah’s storied career with their new record Every Road, which includes collaborations with Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Ashley McBrydeDierks Bentley, Lady AZac Brown BandCarly PearceCody Johnson and Brad Paisley

Raybon and McGuire formed Shenandoah in 1984 in Muscle Shoals, Alabama with bassist Ralph Ezell, keyboardist Stan Thorn and guitarist Jim Seales. Shenandoah inked a deal with Columbia Records and began establishing a national fan base with their self-titled debut in 1987. However, it was the band’s sophomore effort, The Road Not Taken, that spawned their first top ten hits—“She Doesn't Cry Anymore” and “Mama Knows.” Shenandoah followed with three consecutive No. 1 hits—“Church on Cumberland Road,” “Sunday in the South” and “Two Dozen Roses.” “The Church on Cumberland Road” spent two weeks at the top of the chart and made country music history as it marked the first time that a country band's first No. 1 single spent more than one week at the summit. It also helped propel sales of the album to more than half a million units thus giving Shenandoah their first gold album.

Shenandoah became known for delivering songs that celebrated the importance of faith and family while reveling in the joys of small town life. “Next to You, Next to Me” topped the charts for three weeks and “Somewhere in the Vicinity of the Heart,” a beautiful duet with Alison Krauss, won a Country Music Association Award for Vocal Event of the year and a GRAMMY® for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal. Shenandoah also won the Academy of Country Music’s Vocal Group of the Year in 1991.

About Jimmie Allen:

For multi-platinum selling, trailblazing Country star and current GRAMMY Award nominee Jimmie Allen, a simple phrase sums up his view on life and music: Never give up.

A native of Southern Delaware – the “slower, lower” part of the state, he explains – Allen has carried that mantra with him through good times and bad, whether than meant living in his car or receiving his first ACM nomination for New Male Artist of the Year in 2019, a CMA Awards nomination for New Artist of the Year in 2020, subsequently winning the ACM Award for New Male Artist of the Year – the first Black artist to win that category since its inception, and a win with which he hopes “open[s] some doors for more Black artists to have success in country and more Black artists to feel comfortable enough to do country if that’s what they want to do” – as well as the CMA New Artist of the Year Award in 2021. GRAMMY.com has hailed Allen as one of “5 Black Artists Rewriting Country Music.” His current nomination for Best New Artist at the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards in 2022 is his first ever GRAMMY nomination; he is also the only Country nominee in an all-genre category.

With the 2018 release of his debut album Mercury Lane – named in tribute to the street he grew up on and the origin of his incredible journey – on BBR Music Group’s Stoney Creek Records, a lifetime of never giving up brought him full circle.

With Mercury Lane, Allen made history as the first Black artist to launch a career with two consecutive No. 1 hits on country radio, with “Best Shot” claiming the No. 1 spot for three weeks and his second single “Make Me Want To” hitting the top spot in March 2020.Allen’s hard-earned dreams are finally becoming reality, but he shows no signs of limiting himself.

He followed up the success of Mercury Lane with his July 2020 collaboration project, Bettie James, that has amassed 171+ million streams and has further established Allen as Country’s next superstar. The star-studded seven-track project combined his deep love of family and genre-spanning taste in music. Named in honor of Allen’s late grandmother, Bettie Snead, who passed away in 2014 and his late father, James Allen, who passed away in 2019, Allen hand selected artist that touched the life of Allen, his grandmother and father in some way, allowing their legacies to weave seamlessly throughout Bettie James. The wide array of hitmakers include Brad Paisley, Charley Pride, Darius Rucker, Mickey Guyton, Nelly, Noah Cyrus, The Oak Ridge Boys, Rita Wilson, Tauren Wells and Tim McGraw.

Badflower w/ ‘68 and BRKN LOVE

Lightstream Presents

Beauty blooms from discomfort. The second we squirm at the utterance of a lyric or the echo of a guitar chord is the moment we learn about our limits and, perhaps, make a change in our lives. Badflower aren’t afraid of making anybody uncomfortable. The GOLD-certified Los Angeles-bred and Nashville-based quartet—Josh Katz [lead singer, guitarist], Joey Morrow [lead guitar, backing vocals], Alex Espiritu [bass], and Anthony Sonetti [drums]—siphon stress, sleeplessness, sex, sadness, mania, pain, and truth into revelatory alternative anthems. Katz’s quivering confessions seep into climactic distortion and, like any good rush, you need more.

They deliver this rush on their 2021 second full-length offering, This Is How The World Ends (Big Machine/John Varvatos Records).

Badflower continue to commit body, blood, mind, and soul to their art. They’ve certainly grinded to get to this point. After forming in Los Angeles during 2014, they dropped two EPs before sending shockwaves throughout rock with their 2019 full-length debut, OK, I’M SICK. LoudWire hailed it among the “50 Best Rock Albums of 2019,” while the singles “The Jester,” “Heroin,” and “Ghost” vaulted to No. 1 at Rock Radio. Not to mention, the latter picked up a GOLD-certification from the RIAA and win as iHeartRadio Music Awards Rock Song of the Year. Along the way, they garnered further acclaim from Nylon, Alternative Press, Music Connection, and Substream Magazine and performed on The Late Late Show with James Corden as well as Last Call with Carson Daly. They’re the rare act who can ignite a crowd at Kaboo Del Mar or Sonic Temple in addition to sharing bills with the likes of Cage the Elephant, Ghost, Nothing More, Shinedown, Soundgarden, and many more. Thus far, they’ve also gathered over 100 million streams and counting. Meanwhile, one-off singles “30” and “F*ck The World” reached Top 5 and Top 10 at Rock Radio, respectively. Before the Global Pandemic swallowed 2020 whole, Josh and Co. had begun penning ideas for what would eventually become This Is How The World Ends.

About Hollywood Gods ‘N Monsters:

Former Bass player of “Steel Panther” Travis Haley (Lexxi Foxx) and Diggity Dave, formally of MTV’s “Pimp my Ride” form new band “Hollywood Gods N’ Monsters”

Los Angeles Ca, - Sep 27, 2021 – Travis Haley, former bass player (Lexxi Foxx) of longtime fan favorite metal parody act “Steel Panther” has announced the formation of his new band “Hollywood Gods N’ Monsters” with long time friend and television celebrity from MTV’s “Pimp my Ride” Diggity Dave.

The Monsters - After performing for over two decades with his former band, Travis Haley had amicably decided to move on and do something a little different in the space of music and bass playing alike. Diggity Dave was quoted saying “It’s not like he ever thought he wasn’t challenged by the copious amount of talent that resided within “Steel Panther,” it’s just that he wanted to explore different kinds of music and not traditional "cover tunes" and he was intrigued by some of the music I was sending him.”

Diggity Dave has been doing television since the early 2000’s but came from the world of music. Diggity was signed to Warner Brothers Records in the mid 90’s with a band he fronted named “Shake the Faith” which featured Tommy Thayer (KISS) on guitar, Bry (Brian) on guitar (who went on to play with the band “Closure”) and drummer Danny Parker (who went on to co-found Warner Brothers recording artist “Beautiful Creatures”). After a decade of being on MTV, Diggity went on to star in countless other TV shows, including “Battleground Earth” with longtime friend Tommy Lee (Motley Crue) and famed rapper Ludacris.

Travis, Diggity, Bry (Brian), Danny, and their female singer 7even (Kris Aragon) have known one another for 20 years before collaborating on this magnipotent, musical, mishmash. Travis was quoted saying “I am very proud of what I’ve accomplished with my other band, and nothing can take away the memories and the camaraderie that existed for all those years, but I just felt it was time for something new, and when I heard this music, I knew this was the group of friends and the music I wanted to collaborate on.”

Gods before Monsters – Because Diggity, Bry (Brian), and Danny had all played in “Shake the Faith” together and had been best of friends with Travis Haley for more than half their lives, the opportunity to form a new band was simply too compelling not to do so. Diggity confesses that the challenge was what kind of music they would construct. “Once we figured it out, we then set out to find the missing pieces that would propel the sonic and sound needed to round out this parade of hooligans. We knew we were in need of two types of talent. A rapper extraordinaire that could dismantle any genre of music and reconstruct it into his own image, and a female singer that could terrorize through the throat but tingle the testicles. We managed to find the perfect purveyors of punched out panic.” A rapper named HYPE (AKA H.M.K.) who is a phenom in the world of not just rap but also a vocalist too. HYPE, who just released a single titled “Money & Power” was already a bullet on the rise in the musical scene when he was brought into the fold with HGNM. Hype added, “I knew this was a great opportunity to represent legends past and present from all genres of music and bring my own style to these covers, while also transforming music for a new generation. It was a no-brainer to team up with these rockstars and “Define My HYPE” to the world.”

Rounding it out was a female singer who goes by the name 7even (also known as Kris Aragon). Travis says 7even (Kris) was vital for the overall sound of the band because the music demanded not just a female presence, but a female who could occupy a musical space that was jumping from pop, punk, rock, rap, and country covers all while giving a performance that would keep people dancing all night long.

Hollywood Gods N’ Monsters – Their music is what some might call “mashup” but they get agitated when people throw them in that category. HGNM is a new hybrid of musical forms, one that is not often explored live, The band explains it as a blender of styles, sounds, artists, genres, samples, loops, and homages to other artist and Dj's that smash up music. Diggity elucidates it this way, “this generation, the one before it, and the one that’s following are ripe for a band like us. It’s about losing yourself in the music, about dancing, about feeling alive. That’s why the Dj scene is conquered music, because people wanna go to a show and not think about what they’re listening to. They just wanna be enveloped in songs that they know, their friends know, and hell…even their parents know. Travis closes by saying, “this is some amazing stuff we’re doing, and it’s a living, breathing history of music. What other band mixes the 70’s band Chic, with Queen, with Aerosmith, Sugarhill Gang, Blondie, and DMX? And that’s just one song by us. Also, kids wanna see rock stars again…bigger than life entities on stage that accentuate the songs. Stick around because we’re bringin it all back in a time machine that captures that way people use to rage on the radio from the 70’s, 80’s to present time.”

Chayce Beckham

Lightstream Presents

About Chayce Beckham:

Chayce Beckham is one of the most buzzed about newcomers in country music today, having won over millions of hearts while competing on Season 19 of American Idol. From the first audition, superstar Katy Perry highlighted how Chayce's gravely vocals sound like “the heart of America.” Armed with a determination to make something of himself and the unwavering support of his family, Chayce auditioned for the competition show after undergoing a particularly difficult year to ultimately become the first-ever show winner to claim the title with an original song—kickstarting his journey to fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming a singer, songwriter and entertainer.

Following his first time onstage after performing in his fifth-grade talent show, the southern Californian began teaching himself guitar—eventually finding his way into a Reggae band (while earning his wages at a construction equipment rental company). Influenced by artists such as Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, and Kolton Moore & The Clever Few, and knowing that country music was where his heart called home, Chayce turned to Instagram as a creative outlet for his more intimate songs, sharing his original material.

With his family, his hometown of Apple Valley and now America behind him, the mellow 24-year-old with the alluring rasp recently released his debut song, "23." The song is a semi-autobiographical account of his struggles with alcohol and of the lows it can take a person. After its May release, the song quickly earned the top spot on both the iTunes Country and all genre charts. Now signed to 19 Recordings in partnership with BBR Music Group/Wheelhouse Records and finding his home in Nashville, Chayce is ready to dig into new music and share his signature sound with his legions of fans.

About Lauren Alaina:

Ten years into her Nashville career, Lauren Alaina is in the upper echelon of country music's most authentic voices, beloved personalities, and open hearts. She’s earned a reputation as one of the genre's most compelling storytellers by boldly incorporating her struggles and heartache into her critically acclaimed first two albums. Lauren’s third studio collection, Sitting Pretty on Top of the World, is an artful evolution of immaculately penned, unflinching reflections of the mountains and valleys on her journey.

Sitting Pretty on Top of the World opens with the telltale sound of a needle dropping down on a record, and with that, Lauren sets the tone for some of the most captivating music of her career. Lauren was inspired to lean into the tenets of classic country music for this project.

Lauren takes pride in the exposed transparency of her songwriting on this project, and though most writing sessions took place via Zoom, Lauren was crafting verses and choruses alongside the likes of award-winning songwriters including Liz Rose, Lori McKenna, Hillary Lindsey, Emily Weisband, David Garcia, Jordan Reynolds, Ben Johnson and Kennedi Lykken. She co-wrote 14 of the album’s 15 songs, much of it inspired from recent life experiences including two impactful break-ups, the loss of her stepfather, and like much of the world, Lauren struggled with despondency as she adapted to life in the pandemic.

Puddle of Mudd

Lightstream Presents

Puddle of Mudd rise from the ashes with their sixth studio album in nearly a decade, entitled Welcome to Galvania. Formed in 1991, Puddle of Mudd has sold over seven million albums and has had a string of number-one singles, including the hits “Blurry,” “She Hates Me,” and “Famous.” The new album, Welcome to Galvania, was produced by Cameron Webb (Alkaline Trio, Disturbed, Motorhead). It also marks the band’s first full-length album since Volume 4: Songs in the Key of Love and Hate in 2009.

“This album has been a long time coming. I’m just so happy to finally get it out there for my fans,” says Puddle of Mudd’s frontman, Wes Scantlin. “I hope the new music inspires my fans to live their lives. I’m just trying to crawl under people’s skin and help them through their life musically.”

Scantlin has provided Puddle of Mudd with lead vocals and rhythm guitar since the band’s inception. The origins of the band’s name came from the Missouri River flooding, damaging their rehearsal space.

Puddle of Mudd released their first major album, Come Clean, on August 28, 2001, which spawned the singles “Control” and “Blurry.” These hits propelled Puddle of Mudd to reach the No. 5 slot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This success led to the band venturing out on a full-scale European and American tour, hitting the road with Linkin Park, Stone Temple Pilots, and Staind. Come Clean reached triple platinum status in January of 2003.

The subsequent album, Life on Display, was released in 2003 and reached gold status. They went on to release Famous in 2007. In 2009, they released Vol. 4: Songs in the Key of Love and Hate. In 2011, the band released an album of cover songs, entitled Re:(disc)overed.

Now, Puddle of Mudd is ready to return to the rock scene with their sixth studio album, Welcome to Galvania. Inking a deal with Pavement Entertainment, their new material is primed to reach longtime and new fans. “Sometimes in life you come across people who want to bring you down and rip apart your soul. Well, those days are gone,” says Scantlin.  “I have surrounded myself with a great team of people.  They believe in me and I believe in them. I’d like to thank each and every one of them for their hard work and perseverance. I’d also like to thank all of my fans for their patience. This is just the beginning. I have a lot more rock ‘n’ roll in me to share with the world!”

Hair Metal Giants

Lightstream Presents

Hair Metal Giants is an 80s tribute band from Austin, TX. Some call it 'pop metal'... some call it 'glam metal'... by whatever name you favor, we are devoted to that amazing era of rock from the late 70's to the early 90's most people call 'hair metal'. Big melodies, big harmonies, big anthems, and yes, of course, big hair!

The band got its start in 2013 when Paul formed Emerson Giants - a variety classic-rock band. After years of playing around Austin, learning what worked on stage (and sometimes, what didn't), and noticing that the feel-good anthems, rockers and power ballads of the 'hair metal' era went over big with Central Texas audiences, Emerson Giants became Hair Metal Giants - focusing in on "The Best Decade of Rock" - the 80s!

Meticulously researching and recreating the looks, stage presence and sounds of the bands of this era is our highest priority - along with making our shows "Nothin' But A Good Time" for the audience.

They live up to the band's motto to "Rock and Roll All Nite -- and party every day!"

Roger Creager w/ Sour Bridges

Lightstream Presents

Roger Creager is an adventurist; he does not like to sit still while the world passes by. Whether it’s climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, jumping off his boat to snorkel with wild dolphins, snow skiing in the Rockies, catching tuna 100 miles from shore, piloting his airplane to far-off concerts, spear-fishing around oil rigs, scuba diving coral reefs, surfing in Costa Rica, or playing music through the Italian countryside, he tries to get the most out of what the world has to offer. All of this finds its way into Roger’s music and live shows. His passion for life invigorates everyone around him including his fan base. Those who get hooked on his charisma and high energy come back show after show, year after year, and record after record.

Roger is very fortunate that his music career allows him this lifestyle. But he gives it back by putting his life experiences and his infectious high energy and zeal for adventure right back into his songwriting and performances. Creager may travel the world, but he never strays far from his small-town South Texas roots and his music encompasses all of him.

The new EP "Gulf Coast Time" is certainly a slice out of Creager life. Roger grew up outside of Corpus Christi and has always maintained a love of saltwater. Whether he's happy, sad, bored, or just in need of inspiration, you can bet this artist will be somewhere breathing sea air.

Ray Wylie Hubbard w/ Andrew Duhon - Local Licks Live Presented by KLBJ & Loris Lowe

Lightstream Backyard Concert Series

Lightstream is partnering with KLBJ and Loris Lowe’s Local Licks radio show for a new concert series called LOCAL LICKS LIVE at The Haute Spot. Legendary Texas artist Ray Wylie Hubbard will headline the February 2022 edition of the series.

Lightstream is a collective of fans, artists, and industry professionals that believe in the power of music to lift up entire communities. LOCAL LICKS LIVE is a new concert series that does exactly that. This series allows us to get back to why Lightstream is here: to support local artists, rock out, and do good. Lightstream strives to make the world a better place by supporting and sharing music, from national artists to our very own homegrown ones.

“Local Licks is Austin’s longest running radio show dedicated to spotlighting Austin artists.  It’s been on the air since the 80’s.  And we are so thrilled to be taking our goal of spotlighting local artists, LIVE to Haute Spot in Cedar Park.  And even more thrilled that the phenomenal Ruthie Foster will help us kick off the new Local Licks Live series.  Ruthie is Austin royalty, and we couldn’t be happier to have her as our first artist. Join us, and show your support of Austin music.  Because we’re pretty sure you love it as much as we do.”  - Loris Lowe

Designated Charitable Sponsors for this event are St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

About Ray Wylie Hubbard:

Ray Wylie Hubbard is the secret handshake amongst those who know. Earthy, real, funky, unabashed, his records have been swapped and played on the road by everyone from Blackberry Smoke and Georgia Satellites to Black Stone Cherry. “Snake Farm” alone could be the red-blooded touring male’s reality-based point of connection.

That passion for the man who’s as much a renegade poet as a roadhouse saint brought together an eclectic mix of guests for Co-Starring, his first ever high-profile label release. Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, the Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson, Ronnie Dunn, Don Was, Larkin Poe, Pam Tillis and The Cadillac Three were just a few who clamored to jam, sing and generally be in the studio with the wizened icon.

The Austin Music and Eric Church-inducted Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Famer was born in Soper, Oklahoma, went to high school with cosmic cowboy Michael Martin Murphey and spent his summers playing folk music in Red River, New Mexico. It all added to an iconoclastic, hell-bent for truths and textures in writing about the way outlaws live – and added to his outlier bona fides that he made 16 albums without ever signing to a major label.

That’s all about to change for the go-to songwriter for Lucinda Williams, Hayes Carll, Pat Green, Jerry Jeff Walker, Waylon Jennings, Slaid Cleaves and Willie Nelson. Whether it’s bluegrass/folk legend Peter Rowan on the tender “Hummingbird,” emerging Nashville renegade Ashley McBryde on the tough girl homage “Outlaw Blood,” SiriusXM femme fatales Paula Nelson and Elizabeth Cook on the randy “Drink ‘Til I See Double” or the trippy rocker Aaron Lee Tasjan on the elegiac “Rock Gods,” Co-Starring is a supple, musky affair.

Fastball w/ Nuevo

Fastball w/ Nuevo

Lightstream Presents

Fastball is:

Tony Scalzo - vocals, bass, guitar, keyboards

Joey Shuffield - drums

Miles Zuniga - vocals, guitar

About the band:

"In the past, we'd make a record and then everybody would go their separate ways for a while," says Fastball's Miles Zuniga. "But now, we're feeling so excited about the music that it's 'How soon can we make another record?' We're feeling a sense of urgency about the music that's really refreshing."

Fastball's new album The Help Machine follows on the heels of the band's acclaimed 2017 release Step Into Light. The new set, on the Austin, Texas trio's own 33 1/3 label, once again demonstrates the distinctive songwriting, expressive vocals and inventive melodic sensibilities of Zuniga and his bandmate Tony Scalzo. With drummer Joey Shuffield completing the longstanding lineup, the trio's time-tested creative rapport is as potent as ever on such compelling tunes as Scalzo's "White Collar," "All Gone Fuzzy" and "The Girl You Pretended to Be," and the Zuniga compositions "Friend or Foe," "Holding the Devil’s Hand" and the album's enigmatic title track.

The Help Machine's 11 new originals gain added sonic appeal from the production of Los Lobos member and versatile Grammy-winner Steve Berlin, whose studio resume includes work with the likes of Alejandro Escovedo, Faith No More, Rickie Lee Jones and the Tragically Hip.

Recording at Austin's Treefort Studios with engineer Jim Vollentine, who'd worked on Fastball's 2004 release Keep Your Wig On, the band and Berlin maintained an organic creative atmosphere that allowed the group members to break out of their respective comfort zones. Scalzo didn't even play his usual instrument, bass, on the sessions, instead tackling new challenges on keyboards and guitar. The group brought in old friend Bruce Hughes (formerly of Cracker and Poi Dog Pondering) to handle the album's bass parts. Other guest players on The Help Machine include Austin legend Charlie Sexton, who adds guitar on "Girl You Pretended To Be"; Wye Oak member Andy Stack, who plays multiple instruments on a pair of tracks; and Band of Heathens members Gordy Quist and John Chipman.

With nearly a quarter-century of music-making under their collective belt, the members of Fastball continue to extend and expand the band's widely loved body of work. The trio's catalog encompasses such memorable albums as their 1996 debut Make Your Mama Proud, their 1998 platinum breakthrough All the Pain Money Can Buy (which spawned the Grammy-nominated Top Five hit "The Way"), 2000's The Harsh Light of Day, 2004's Keep Your Wig On, 2009's Little White Lies and 2017's Step Into Light.

The ongoing resonance of Fastball's music is reflected in the passion of Fastball's ardent fan base. Shuffield: "We're always meeting people who tell us how we helped them get through college, and we have whole families that coming to the shows now. At nearly every show, we'll meet people who've flown in from other states, or other countries, to see us play. That kind of thing really warms the heart, and makes us feel like we're doing something right."

P.O.D. w/ Norma Jean and Living Sacrifice

Lightstream Presents

About P.O.D.:

Music magnifies purpose. It globalizes intent in the form of action. Since 1992, P.O.D. have globally rallied audiences around a hypnotic hybrid of hard rock, hip-hop, reggae, and alternative punctuated by a message of unification and a powerful pledge to persevere. The San Diego quartet—Sonny Sandoval [vocals], Marcos Curiel [guitar], Traa Daniels [bass], and Wuv Bernardo [drums]—rose up from a tough neighborhood just four exists north of the Mexican border into a three-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated multiplatinum mainstay. Moving 10 million-plus records, selling out gigs on multiple continents, logging four Top 10 debuts on the Billboard Top 200, and collaborating with everyone from Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® inductee Carlos Santana to Katy Perry, the group continue to bring people together everywhere.

Landing a deal with Atlantic Records, the grind continued on 1999’s major label debut, The Fundamental Elements of Southtown. It established the group as a platinum-selling force anchored by anthems “Southtown” and “Rock the Party (Off the Hook)” as the guys toured tirelessly. Plus, it set the stage for Satellite in 2001. Not only did it bow at #6 on the Billboard Top 200 and go triple-platinum, but it also yielded four signature singles “Alive,” “Youth of the Nation,” “Boom,” and “Satellite.” In its wake, the band garnered GRAMMY® nominations in the categories of “Best Hard Rock Performance” for “Alive” in 2002, “Best Metal Performance” for “Portrait” in 2003, and “Best Hard Rock Performance” for “Youth of the Nation” also in 2003. Not to mention, the band joined Carlos Santana on stage at the Latin GRAMMY® Awards to perform the collaboration “America.”

Three top 10 albums followed with 2003’s gold-certified Payable on Death, 2006’s Testify, and 2008’s When Angels & Serpents Dance. The latter boasted “dream collaborations” such as “Kaliforn-Eye-A” [feat. Mike Muir of Suicidal Tendencies], “I’ll Be Ready” [feat. Cedella & Shannon Marley], and “God Forbid” [feat. Page Hamilton of Helmet]. Logging a Top 20 debut, 2012’s Murdered Love included fan favorites “Eyez” [feat. Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed] and “West Coast Rock Steady” [feat. Sen Dog of Cypress Hill]. After 2015’s conceptual The Awakening, Circles earmarked the start of a whole new chapter in 2018. Signing to Mascot Label Group, the boys extensively collaborated with production duo The Heavy and popped off with a dynamic distillation of their trademark style. Billboard claimed, “P.O.D. takes a leap forward with ‘Circles’, as “Listening For The Silence” [4 million Spotify streams] and “Always Southern California” [3.2 million Spotify streams] lit up DSPs.
